the shawl is absolutely beautiful and came very quickly. unfortunately it had been stored with a bar of heavily perfumed soap, and the smell was overpowering. i washed the scarf and had it dry cleaned, and now it's finally less odorous. the seller was willing to accept a return if it came to that, but i decided to keep the (beautiful!) scarf and keep trying to get the smell out. i write this just in case anyone else is sensitive to smells.
