St. Vincent, the nom-de-stage of "playful chanteuse [and] fearsome shredder" (NY Times) Annie Clark, releases her second album for 4AD, 'Strange Mercy". The record's 11 tracks showcase Clark's gift for fusing the cerebral and the visceral, her melodically elegant arrangements packing hefty emotional punches. Clark reunited with producer John Congleton and recorded the album in her hometown of Dallas, TX. 'Strange Mercy' finds St. Vincent redefining the idea of the guitar hero, utilizing the instrument as a pointillist artist might wield a brush. Snagged 5 in a grab bag. All still sealed, the package arrived safely and quick. I had contacted the seller due to not at all being an anime fan and was told that there would be a super low chance i'd get an Anime record, at most i'd get 1. Still got 1, so that was a let down for sure but they were truthful in that I would at most get 1. The records I got weren't too crazy valuable either, pretty much all of them just slightly above the $10 mark up to $20. Overall, it was okay at best.

For all eBay buyers, I want to share with you my experience with ESUS tracking, eBay's standard tracking envelope. The experience is NEGATIVE. The package doesn't get scanned upon delivery so the delivery date is estimated based on the time it get's scanned at the destination post office. Often it's a few days off. Since the tracking number is proprietary to eBay, USPS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP WITH IT. As such, I found that ESUS tracking was useless and I had no idea of the status...

I ordered this item twice from this seller. The item came as promised after my first purchase. Unfortunately, the record showed a distinct warp on one of the discs and was unplayable. The seller accepted the return and issued a prompt refund. The second item also arrived as promised. The record played without flaw. E-mail communication was very friendly. Packaging was excellent both times. Highly recommended.
