The S.H.MonsterArts Mothra & Rodan 2019 duel set, released November 22nd, 2019, is an unfortunate far cry from the comparatively more posable and dynamic Mothra and Rodan figures of the past. With a lacking range of motion across the board and a complete lack of articulation in either of their wings, these figures may leave most feeling a bit underwhelmed. Be that as it may, though, these two still make for some fantastic display pieces, something that's made especially true when complimented by any of the figure line's other 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' tie-in releases. Plus, while Mothra here may be a glorified accessory (befitting considering this incarnation's less than tasteful role in the 2019 film), Rodan's figure on the other hand, despite it's stiffness, can still get away with some cool poses so long as you're creative about it. But, I mean, you already know all that, right? Course you do! You're not here 'cause you think these figures are cool themselves, you're here 'cause they make all your actually cool figures look even cooler! Now, now, let's not kid ourselves here. It's alright, I get you. In fact, I'd even say you'd be right for it! I mean, have you seen this gallery? Doesn't it just make that there not included with the set bootleg Godzilla 2019 that you can buy on my store page separately look so much cooler than it already is? Well, Duh! So, what're you waiting for? You go on and you complete that S.H.MonsterArts 'King of the Monsters' set of yours and you do it without coming to regret your purchase in the slightest, and you do it with a smile!
