WIDTH=16 C.M. DEPTH= 4 C.M. PLEASE NOTE: WE USE ONLY WATER BUFFALO and COW HIDES, and GOATSKINS from OLD DAIRY ANIMALS that are PAST a USEFUL AGE or FALLEN (Naturally Dead). THERE ARE NO ANIMALS BRED AND SLAUGHTERED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PRODUCING LEATHER FOR OUR JOURNALS. OUR LEATHER is TANNED with TREE BARK and FINISHED with a NATURAL VEGETABLE DYE in STARK CONTRAST to using CHROME TANNING which is HIGHLY TOXIC,WATER POLLUTING and known to be CARCINOGENIC. THIS NATURAL DYE CAN LEAVE A SMALL RESIDUE ON THE SURFACE OF THE LEATHER WHICH MIGHT COME OFF ON YOUR HANDS ON FIRST HANDLING OF THE BOOK.
