Here's the beautiful 1933 "RADIO ORPHAN ANNIE" OVALTINE CUP MUG MAILAWAY PREMIUM , from a series of mugs and cups issued from 1931-1940 from the popular "LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE" NBC children's afternoon radio serial. The mugs were used to enjoy the sponsor's powdered OVALTINE with milk. The cream-colored Beetleware cup is 2 7/8" wide at the top and stands 2 7/8" tall. The colorful decal pictures Annie and Sandy. See photos for a closer look. No cracks or chips; vivid decal color; small spots of paint (?) on the bottom rim; minor decal wear. A classic radio premium!
