This is a really neat original Little Orphan Annie bisque figure from the 1930s. She has a nodder style head. Originally it would have had a type of elastic string but someone has replaced it with a rubber band. It would be just about impossible to find one with the original elastic; almost all I have seen have been replaced. It measures 3-3/8" tall. Stamped " Orphan Annie Germany ." Looking closely at her face, her nose is a little bit flat, but this is not a break or a chip; the nose probably got flattened before it got fired during production. This came out of a massive estate collection of hard-to-find toys and premiums.
