Here's an early 1930s LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE & SANDY BISQUE PLANTER . Likely made in Japan before WWII, this hand-painted bisque planter retains little of the original paint. Annie stands about 5" tall, 3" deep and 3" wide and is marked "F.A.S." (FAMOUS ARTISTS SYNDICATE) and "ORPHAN ANNIE & SANDY" on the back. Larger and far scarcer than the similarly designed toothbrush holder listed separately. See photos for a closer look. No chips and no cracks; a good candidate for a new paint job. Nice for display.
